If I had a dollar for everytime I hear women wish they could wear their Lululemon every day, I would be a rich woman. Good news - this dream is not out of reach. One of my strategies for buying is to consider if my clients can wear an item beyond its original intent. The beauty of Lululemon's clothing is although constructed for the mat or the gym; their pieces have more lives than a cat.
Culottes are the pant of the season. Lululemon's version is the Tranquility Pant. Made of Tencel, this lightweight, wide leg pant is moisture wicking and has a roll down waist to provide a high-or-low look. These pants can be worn to your barre class or to an actual bar. Madison Kennedy dresses hers up with a pink Run Swiftly tee, heels and a sleeveless jacket. For a more relaxed sporty look, pair them with a sweatshirt and platform sandals. This pant will pretty much do it all and is as comfortable as your old cozy sweats.
Another great option is the Jet Crop - this pant is the true sense of athleisure. So many designers have added athleisure capsules to their ready-to-wear lines because...wait for it...that's what women want! Lululemon blazed the trail in this arena with functional and stylish clothes that can be dressed up or down. If you have killer abs (see Madison Kennedy), wear them with a longer bra and a jean jacket or dress it up with booties, a button-down and a long vest. Having these pants a bit more slouchy provides more options, so I recommend sizing up. You can easily swap the button-down for a t-shirt or a tank with a cardi and look instantly chic.

Pants aren't your only options. Many of Lululemon's tanks and tops are perfectly suited

for life outside of the studio. Reinvent your bright swiftlys or the geometric-detailed Time Warp Tee by wearing it under a mesh paneled sweater or a blazer to work or to dinner.
Bottom line...don't limit yourself or your wardrobe to its original purpose. Think of how you are going to expand your outlook and incorporate your beloved workout clothes into your all day, erryday style.
